Episode 3

Watch them all or I am coming over.   Seriously.

Jalapeno Blue Cheese Burgers

What you need!
2-5 lbs of ground beef
2 tblsp salt
1 tblsp garlic powder
1 tblsp onion powder
3 tblsp coarse black pepper
3 tblsp diced jalapeno (picked works just fine)
1/2 cup of blue cheese crumbles
2 eggs

How to prepare!
In a large bowl combine eggs, ground beef, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, dicded jalapenos and blue cheese. Mix with your hands until completely blended and the meat is extra soft. (a little trick at this point is that you can place the meat in the fridge for about 2 hours, this makes the burgers a little easier to patty out.)

Once mixed get a "palm full" of the meat mixture and roll into a tight ball like a large meatball. Once the ball is formed immediatly patty into a burger a little larger than your hand. You don't want the burger to be too thick or too small so make sure that they are about a 1/2 inch thick.

Place the burgers over direct heat of the grill until cooked to your liking. (I like mine medium rare just remember that for when I come over, make sure to have these ready.)

Try to flip the burgers as little as possible, you want to cook one side for 5-6 minutes and check to see if it is close to done, then flip to cook the other side.

Top with thick slice of tomato, mayo, mustard, onion if you want, lettuce and A-1 sauce for a burger that you will never forget.
